chapter: 4

I heard rain drops this morning. It's raining outside duh. I don't know why but i always like the rain. This morning Adelle drove me to school since she was also going to college early today. I checked my cellphone and what do you know it's Friday already. I'm freezing in the car and i am still freezing in the classroom. Everyone in class wore a sweater or a jacket today, no wonder since the weather was extremely cold. Well almost everyone in class wore something warm, Connor didn't.

"I wonder why Connor never gets cold." a voice said behind me. It was Brooke.
"what do you mean that he never gets cold?" i asked with a voice not wanting to know.
"Well i don't really know it myself, i just have this instink you know, it's just a feeling."
"Oh" was all i could let out.

Later on when the school bell rang and we went home it was still raining. Good thing i brought an umbrella with me. On my way home i could see Connor walking with nothing to cover him from the rain. I ran to him because i was worried he'd catch a cold.

"Aria?" he said in disbelief.
"The one and only, umbrella?" i said offering.
"Sure, thanks." he said smiling at me.
"Aren't you cold? I mean you're soaking wet dude." i said to him and i accidently touched his arm. It was burning, or so i think it was cause Connor looked fine to me.
"Naah, it's not cold at all actually, it's pretty refreshing." he said calmly. Not long after that we arrived at our house.
"Hey thanks Aria." Connor said and he ran to his house and waved me goodbye.
I waved back and went inside the house too.

I changed my wet clothes with dry ones and grabbed my mac then i just laid on my bed. I opened my flickr, tumblr and youtube account. I was bored as hell. After playing with my mac i turned on y iPod and grabbed my guitar and sat at the window. It was the fun thing i could think of, for now at least until the sun came up. I turned off my iPod and i could hear taps on my window. It sounded like someone was throwing pebbles at my window, and what do you know, it was Connor. The rain stopped and the sun came up. Connor kept throwing pebbles at my window then one pebble - a quite big one i for a pebble - hit his forehead. I opened my window and giggled.
"What Connor?" i asked still giggling.
"Come down the weathers nice now, why don't we go to the park?" Connor said while rubbing his forehead.
"Wait there" was all i said and i grabbed my 450D canon. I might as well take pictures at the park i thought to myself.

Connor was already infront of the porch with Buzz. He had a grin on his face. I snapped a photo of that happy grin of his and i also took a picture of Buzz. Our little trip to the park was fun. I took a couple of pictures and Connor also took a photo of me with Buzz.

When we got home, i could see Connor's face was red and he was panting.
"Connor, you okay? You look sick" i said while trying to check his temperature with my hand.
"No, i'm fine" he slapped my hand. I stared at him in disbelief.
"Sorry, but really i'm fine don't worry about me." he said calmly.
"If you say so" i mumbled.
I took a bath. I went to my room and looked at the photos again.
"Aww cute, a puppy!" a voice came from beside me. I startled and almost jump off of my bed.
"Gosh, you scared me. Why can't you greet me like normal kids."
"Sorry," she said with a guilty voice and an innocent face.
We looked at the photos together. Funny she's just like a little gitl, well duh. I men she's not like the ghost i've met, she's not scary.
"Hey what's your name by the way?" i asked, i almost sounded eager.
"Um, i don't know." she said looking sad. Her body became more transparant than before.
"You,um, forgot your name?" i asked again. She disappeared from my sight. That night i couldn't sleep at all.

chapter: 3 part II

I almost jumped out of bed when i saw her. The little girl wore a purple night gown and she held her stuffed dog. She looked at me and gave me a smile.I think she's 7 years old. I looked at her with disbelief.



I knew exactly what she is -a ghost- but i don't know what she was doing here, in my room. I kept staring at her, but she wasn't bothered by it, instead she kept looking at my drawing. She suddenly disappeared when i was about to talk to her.



Okay enough doodling, i need some fresh air. I went outside to take a walk around the neighbourhood, again. When i was about to start walking something knocked over me from behind and i fell to the grass, fortunately.



"Heel, boy, heel," said a voice "sorry, i don't know why he did that to you."
"I'm okay, i fell to the grass luckily," i replied while getting up. "See? Nothing broken."
"Aria? Sorry, he's feeling hyper all of a sudden," the voice was Connor's.
"Your dog?" i asked.
"Uh-huh," he replied "his name is Buzz a golden retreiver."
"Aw, he's so cute." i said while kneeling and patted 'Buzz'. Buzz licked my face all of a sudden, but i don't mind that, i'm love dogs.
"He likes you," Connor said.
"Well, i like him too," i said still playing with Buzz. "Where are you going Connor?"
"I'm about to take Buzz for a walk to the," he said "wanna come along?"
"Sure," i said with a smile.



On our way to the park, Connor told me a little about our school. He also told me about the teachers, like which one of them are the funniest or the sadistic type. He also told me about the time when Buzz chased off the mailman and ripped the mailman's pants. We played for awhile in the park. There're so many dog owner in the neighbourhood that the park was full. Not long after that we went back to our house.



I went inside the house and saw no one there. I went to my room and took a shower since i was bored. After i finished taking a bath i noticed that Ruben was home cause i heard sounds from the kitchen. Ruben always cooked for me and Adelle when our parents aren't home. He uses his powers to help him cook faster.



"Hey Ruben," i said "what're you cooking tonight?"
"Mashed potato and chicken," he answered "You already hungry Aria?"
"Yes." i saidfollowed with the sound of my stomach.
"All right, all right, i'll make it as fast as can."

Ingridients started flying around. I watched as Ruben cooked. I set up the plates while waiting.

"Hey, i'm home," Adele said from the front door "something smells yummy."
"Welcome home." Ruben and i said at the same time.

Ruben finished cooking and the three of us ate together. Then i washed the dishes then went to my room. That night, i tried to sleep but i can't. I counted sheeps and other stuffs that i thought would make fall asleep but it didn't help. I looked at the clock, it was midnight and i still haven't slept. At around 1.30am i finally fell asleep.

chapter: 3 part I

The alarm clock woke me up then i realised, it's my first day in a new school. Sure it's still the first semester but i don't wanna be late for it. I jumped out of bed and quickly took a bath. Then i went down stairs and ate my breakfast. Mom and Dad already left for work while my sister and my brother were probably taking a bath. I finished my breakfast and glanced at the clock, it was 7.40am. "If i hurry i might make it in time," i thought to myself.

As i ran to school i kept thinking "Will there be ghosts in the school?" That question got stuck in my head. I want to be normal in this school. Ever since i told my friends in my old elementary school that i can see ghosts, they think i'm nuts, a weirdo. So i've decided that i have to act normal, i have to pretend that i can't see ghosts.

I arrived at school 10 minutes before the bell rang and quickly went to the teacher's office. After the bell rang i followed the teacher -who i guess was the homeroom teacher- Mrs. Kinsley. From the teacher's office i didn't see any ghosts and i felt relieved and thought that there aren't any ghosts in this school. But when we arrived at the classroom, all my relieved feelings went away with the sight of ghosts flying around the room. While Mrs. Kinsley introduced me i felt nervous. The palm of my hand was very sweaty and i couldn't focus.


"Ms. Grogan, your seat is right there," she said while pointing at the empty seat behind "right behind Connor Smith."
I walked to my seat and saw Connor.
"Hey, i'm Brooke," said a girl with blonde wavy hair "nice to meet you." she said with a smile on her face.
"Nice to meet you too," i smiled back at her.

Mrs. Kinsley suddenly left the room cause she was called out by someone.
"Hey Aria, if you need a tour around school just ask me," Brooke said with an anthustiastic voice.
"Sure that'll be nice, thanks." i said to her.
"That's Connor," she pointed at Connor.
"We already met Brooke, she's my neighbour," Connor said and glance at me.
"Oh," she said "really? I didn't know that. By the way, that's Owen." Brooke said while pointing at the boy sitting next to her.
"Hello there," the boy said to me with a gentle voice
"The three of us have been friends since the third grade." Brooke explained to me.
"The bell rang and we can go home since it's still the first day of school. I asked Brooke to show me around school and she said yes. We went to the cafeteria, the field and plenty of other classes. Each place has a ghost in it. The worst place is the auditorium. Ghosts were walking around without a care and it gave me goosebumps. Not long after that we went home together.

I met Ruben on the way home and walked home together. I went to my room and listened to my iPod while doodling. I like doodling, it's my hobby since i was a kid.
"Nice drawing," said a little girl right next to my bed. Her short blonde hair suit her face. I was shocked. I was also speechless.

Chapter: 2

I woke up with the sound of the alarm. The sunlight hit my face, it was too bright too see. It was 7.30am. I went downstairs as soon as i washed my face. My mom was sipping a cup of tea, my dad was reading the newspaper, Ruben was eating his breakfast, and Adele was eating her toast. I grabbed a bowl, a box of cereal and milk. We ate breakfast as usual, i guess moving isn't that bad at all. After i finished eating my cereal, i put the bowl in the sink.



I went upstairs to my room and took a shower. I looked at the mirror in the bathroom, i stared at it for a long time then i washed my face again. When i looked back at the mirror i saw a little girl behind me, i looked back and saw nothing. "Maybe it was just my imagination," i thought. I took a shower and dressed myself. I wrapped up my hair with my towel and sat in my bed. I was bored, i got nothing to do. I looked aroung my room and found my guitar. I tooked it and started playing. I like music, it makes me calm. After playing my guitar i went downstairs. Adele was at the livingroom watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. My mom was at the livingroom too reading a book. I went to the kitchen to get some O.J and joined them in the living room.

"Why don't you guys go check out the school?" my mom suggested.
"It's Sunday mom, the school's not opened right?" Adele answered while searching the channel.
"Yes the school's not opened, but at least you'll know where it is," mom said "why don't you go Aria?"
"I'll go later mom," i answered.

At about 3pm i walked around the neighbourhood. There're plenty of dog owners here with different breeds of dogs. I finally arrived at the school. It's no different from any other schools, though the divisions are seperated. The first building is the elementary, the second building is the Junior High School, the third building is the High School and the fourth building is the College. The College is bigger than all the other buildings.

"Okay, i've seen the school. What should i do next? Go home? Naah, that'd be boring," as i thought about that, raindrops started to fell. Shoot. I didn't bring an umbrella. The rain got heavier, i ran and found a convinience store not far from the school. I went inside to take shelter. I texted Adele that i'll go home after the rain stopped.

I looked around the store and bought some gummy worms, good thing i brought my wallet. Not long after i bought the gummy worms, someone came in to the shop. It was the son of my mom's friend whose name i forgot. His brown hair is wet now. "I hope he doesn't notice me," i said to myself.

"Hey Aria," some one patted my shoulder.

"H-hey," i replied.

"I'm Connor, you remember right?" he asked.

"S-sure i remember," i said.

"Do you have some problem with your memory?" he asked again

"Huh? No i don't, why?" i asked back

"Well no, it's just.. Ah i gotta get going, see you at school, bye" he went outside.

The rain had stopped and i didn't even realised it. I quickly went back to my house. I prepared my stuff for tomorrow and after dinner i took a shower and fell asleep

chapter: 1

Today we're moving from our house. I finished packing but i just can't leave my old bedroom. "I'm gonna to miss this room," i thought to myself. Just as i was spacing out someone knocked on my door.
"Come in," i said.
It was my mom. "You ready sweetie?" she asked
"Yup, i'm ready," i replied her "be there in a minute."
"Okay then Aria," my mom said then she closed the door.
I grab my backpack and my iPod and then i went to the door. I took one last glance at my room and went outside.

My dad, my brother, Ruben and my sister, Adele were already downstairs. My brother, Ruben is a second year highschooler, he's good at sports and he plays the drum. My sister Adele is a college student, she's great with art stuffs and well she's pretty and petite and sometimes she can be obnoxious. My mom and dad works in this company and because of something, they have to move the company's building. The new building takes 2 hours from our house and because of that we have to move. Mom said that we used to live in that neighbourhood and in that house.

"Okay we're all set," my dad said.
"Okay then let's go," my mom said.
I put on my earbuds and turned on my iPod nano. It was cloudy outside and i felt sleepy, so i decided to take a nap.

I woke up with the feeling of someone shaking my body. I woke up and saw Adele. I looked outside, there's a house that i'm familiar with, but i just can't remember anything.
"We already arrived?" i asked Adele with a sleepy tone, followed by a yawn.
"Yeah, we're here. Mom told me to wake you up," she said.

I stepped out of the car and went inside. When i got inside, things were flying around the house, the cairs, books and more. Oh, i forgot to say this, we Grogans are a family with supernatural powers. My brother and my dad is a sorcerer, my sister's a witch, my mom and i can see and talk to ghost. Not long after that, more than half of the furniture were already placed.

Then someone knocked on the door. "I'll get it," i said.
I opened the door and saw a lady about my mom's age, a man about my dad's age, 3 girls, 1 is about Adele's age, the other one is about Ruben's age and the littlest one about 12 years old, and a boy about my age. When the lady saw me, she looked thrilled.
"Aria, you've growned," she said "do you not remember me?"
I looked at her with a confused look. Then, my mom came and saw the lady. She looked surprised.
"Charlotte, it's been a long time." my mom said with an anthusiastic voice. "Aria, this is Mrs. Smith, she's our old neighbour," my mom said explaining. We went inside and chatted, well the other was talking and i was busy eating the apple pie Mrs. Smith brought for us. After the long chat, they decided to go home.

We ate dinner after the Smiths left. After dinner, i took a shower and started unpacking all my stuff. It didn't took me too long to finish it. I don't have a lot of stuff, just some clothes, my music box, my photo albums and my music box. I took my favourite green dinosaur doll named 'Melon'. I had Melon since i was a kid and i always sleep with it. It was still 9pm but i feel really tired, so i decided to go to sleep.
